General:
Items in stock are shipped out from three to five days of the order placement. Some items, do to product availability, will take longer. Allow up to 4 to 6 weeks for solar panels and 6 to 8 weeks for complete systems. For items not immediately available, the actual shipping date will be confirmed by separate e-mail, with the option to modify the order as deemed appropriate by the customer. Currently, solar panels are subject to considerable variability depending upon size and manufacturer.
Ground Shipping:
Shipments go out via FedEx Ground, unless other arrangements have been made.
Expedited Shipping:
Customers have the option to pay for expedited shipping (2-Day or Express Saver/3-Day). All expedited shipments placed before noon Pacific Time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) go out the next day. Orders for expedited shipments placed after noon go out thesecond business day. For FedEx 2-Day or FedEx Express Saver (3-Day) shipments, the 2 or 3 days does not include the day it was shipped nor does it include Saturdays or Sundays. Thus,if you place a FedEx 2-Day order on Thursday at 1pm, it will go out on Friday and be delivered on Tuesday afternoon. P.O. Box Shipping:
UPS and FedEx do not ship to P.O. boxes, and we prefer not to ship to a P.O. box. If absoluteky necessary, for small items, shipments to P.O. boxes will go out via the U.S. Postal Service on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Military Shipments:
Shipments to military post offices (i.e. APO or FPO) can only be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. All shipments via USPS will go out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note, that when you checkout, you must place the APO or the FPO part of the address in the 'city' field. In the state field, if your address is 'AE,' then choose 'Armed Forces Other Area,' or if your address is 'AP,' then choose 'Armed Forces Pacific' from the pull down list of choices. The postal code / zip code is the zip code you have (if it begins with a '9' it goes out via the military post office in San Francisco, if it begins with a '0' then it goes out via the military post office in New York).
International Shipments:
International shipping is via FedEx International Economy or International Priority. Pricing can be determined during the checkout, but before you actually have to enter your credit card information. For international shipments, all duties, fees, licenses, taxes, and adherence to local laws, regulations and customs, and any other such international issues are the sole responsibility of the customer
